Gunsafe offers free presentations "Racism, elitism, and sexism: The hidden agenda of gun control" "Gun control" laws are frequently touted as beneficial to racial minorities and women. Throughout 225 years of U.S. history, however, gun control has always been sponsored by well-established groups that want to ban firearms ownership for everyone but themselves. Not surprisingly, the members of these groups are nearly all white, male, and well-to-do. Whats surprising is that they continue to shape legislation to the present day, including bills considered by Congress in 1998 and 1999. In this 50-minute presentation, Atty. Ralph D. Sherman (Gunsafe chairman) analyzes the history of gun control and shows that a vision of equality that fails to include the right to keep and bear arms is philosophically and historically flawed. This presentation has been well received several times by college and other audiences. For more information, or to book this presentation (free of charge) for your school or club, please e-mail.
